Rose Water Cupcakes – Primrose Hill Bakery

This weekend I made cupcakes for a friend’s baby’s Christening. They were Rose Water cupcakes from the Primrose Hill Bakery cook book.

The crate was free from the local greengrocer . The fabric at the bottom of the crate was created by layering some old cuttings to make a base for the cupcakes to sit on.

The Primrose Hill Bakery  itself has a really cute 1950’s inspired interior. I  particularly love the yellow Formica diner tables. This is definitely one of my favourite places for afternoon tea and cupcakes. There are only a few tables so it is worth going slightly before tea time.  I always go to the shop in Primrose Hill as that is the closest to me; although, there is now a second shop in Covent Garden which looks lovely. I might have to make a cupcake tasting trip purely for comparison.
